What's the format of myGPSid? | Top
Address ID has two parts, Prefix and Suffix, separated by “@”. Prefix is your user name and suffix is any text value. In other words, the Address ID looks similar to your email-id without the “.com” at the end.
If your user name is “mike”, create your address IDs as shown below:
- mike@home – representing Mike’s home address
- mike@business – representing Mike’s business address
- mike@anyaddress – representing Mike’s any address
Following are the format restrictions for the Address ID’s Prefix and Suffix:
- Prefix (user name): May contain letters, numbers, dots(.), underscores(_), and dashes(-) only.
- Suffix: May contain letters, numbers, underscores(_), and dashes(-) only.

How does third party sites access my address information? | Top
Third party sites have two ways to access your address information:
- Geo-Approximation Services. Your approximate geo-location (lat and long), city, state and zip code are shared in this case. Most of the sites will use this service only, as they do not have to know your exact address, but a rough location is all needed. Any website can access this information/service.
- Complete Address Services: In this case, your entire address will be shared with third party sites. You will need to explicitly authorize it in order for us to share this information. Only few sites will be requiring this information such as e-commerce sites, shipping companies etc. Only sites with your explicit consent can access this information.
